Tom's Egyptian Box

This is the top of a box I am working on today. It is a depiction of some Egyptian Temple Wall Art. It is part of the Egyptian Creation story.

Here is the entire box before it is lined and sewed.

The above two photos show the inside of the box before it is lined. There is an application of contact cement on it by now. Note the V shaped gouges, these are cut on every bend so it makes a nice crisp corner and also gives room for the lining to bend.

Here the lining is glued up and getting ready to be put on the front piece.

Here is the piece as the excess lining is being removed.

I will show the remaining steps later. Now I have to sew some other items.
